Structure Fire At Fisherman's Cove

USPA NEWS - On Monday, emergency responders continued to be present at the site of a structure fire in Fisherman's Cove, Eastern Passage following a morning fire that necessitated a multi-agency response.

Shortly before 3:00 AM, Halifax firefighters responded to reports of smoke in the area of Government Wharf Road in Eastern Passage. An initial call for investigation was swiftly verified by members from Station 16 (Eastern Passage) as a working structure fire, prompting an escalation of response to mobilize additional resources.

The structure is currently in the process of being torn down as fire crews blast pockets of stubborn fire. The cause of the fire will be investigated
